1 in 2 women feel their pain has been ignored or dismissed because of their gender. As one of the world’s largest pain brands Nurofen had the power to make change from within the industry.
Research from Nurofen’s Gender Pain Gap report showed that women desired a tool that could help them tackle bias when speaking to their doctors. So we designed one.
The Pain Pass is a free, accessible tool that can be used by anyone, all you need is a pen. It gives women a simple way to document, track and articulate their pain, providing women the agency to disrupt bias as it happens and making their pain visible.
Launched at a three part experiential event, where we invited policymakers and HCPs to walk in the shoes of women, and supported by a nationwide campaign mobilising society to call on the industry to change.
